Halfway through the day, we drop anchor in one of the sheltered bays around Akamas, perhaps near the famous Blue Lagoon or one of the hidden coves only accessible by sea. The water turns crystal clear, and it’s time for a swim.
Kids leap off the boat like dolphins, snorkel around, or simply float beside you in the sunshine. Lunch is served onboard, simple, fresh, and perfectly timed after all that energy. It’s amazing how the sea makes everyone hungry, and somehow even a sandwich tastes gourmet when you’re on the water.
Then it’s time half-term sailing again. Sometimes the wind picks up, and we’ll let the sails do the work. Other times, it’s a smooth, easy cruise. Either way, the smiles never fade.
